The Beginning
My name is Genevieve, Owner of GMJ Media. and I have been around photography my entire life. Growing up my father owned a camera store in Philadelphia, and I worked in the dark room throughout my childhood. I have always loved expressing myself through my camera. Capturing the uniqueness of the world—of humanity has always been something I excel at.
Experience
As a teenager I took my passion for photography, and turned it into a paying job. I started out working for various businesses doing product photography. Fast forward a few years and social media becomes prevalent. I learned on the go how to create and grow a successful online presence. First growing my personal account to over 10k followers, then helping manage/grow an account with over 500k across all platforms.
What This Means
Throughout the years I have learned both from others in the industry, and from trial and failure of my own what works and what doesn’t work online. Since managing these successful channels, I have worked with many different businesses helping them expand their social media presence. My golden standard to a successful social media presence is to highlight YOU. Social media is a social app after all, and GMJ Media will help highlight what makes you unique as a company.
